Nathan is a dedicated financial advisor with a passion for helping others navigate life’s financial complexities. His journey into the world of financial planning began in college, where a growing interest in the stock market and a deep-seated desire to serve others led him to this career.

At MP Butterworth & Associates, Nathan is especially driven by the firm’s work in special needs planning. Having grown up with a brother with autism, he brings personal insight and compassion to families facing similar circumstances—making a meaningful difference through thoughtful and customized financial guidance.

What Nathan finds most rewarding is seeing clients achieve peace of mind and live on their own terms, empowered by smart financial choices. He believes in building relationships that go beyond numbers—grounded in trust, follow-through, and genuine connection.

Nathan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rhode Island College and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Alvernia University. He is currently pursuing investment licenses to expand the scope of service he provides.

Outside of work, Nathan coaches wrestling and enjoys spending time with his family. A former collegiate athlete, he’s a two-time NCAA wrestling champion and three-time finalist. He lives with his wife, Abbey, and remains close with his siblings Nick, Matthew, and Briana.
